The well awaited Wedding of Jamie and Liz had arrived after 2 years of communication, 2 meetings and loads and loads of emails and online chats it had finally arrived.

We met this lovely Welsh couple who are from Cardiff back in 2016, where we had a meeting in a Hotel reception back in the days before our Wedding meeting room in our studio, and  we fell in love with them, for once we had a groom doing all the planning and a bride agreeing with him, it was refreshing to be dealing with the groom and Jamie knew what he wanted and was doing everything he could to have it.

So 2 years later we were heading off to meet them, after so long we truly felt these were our friends getting married and were excited for the day. The couple booked us for the Luxury all day Photography Package, Highlights video and Drone so they had Kellie, Brandon, Filipe and Myself with them for the day.

We arrived with Liz who was a bit nervous and excited at the same time and with her Mum, Alison and her 2 best friends and Jamie’s sister were her 3 bridesmaids, everyone was getting ready and looking forward to the day ahead.

After we had finished bridal prep we left the ladies and went over to meet the boys at the stunning venue Senhora da Rocha also known as Lady of the Rock where we found Jamie and his boys and as you can see they were all in top form.

As Jamie waited patiently for Liz at the alter you could see how emotional he was getting, and as the bridesmaids walked down the Isle Jamie looked round to see his bride walking alongside her Dad. Everyone including the JHP team had tears in their eyes as Jamie and Liz were reunited at the alter.

The ceremony was conducted by Jonas and was very personal and emotional, it also included a sand ceremony and after the vows and rings were exchanged they had their first kiss…just look at the love these guys have for each other.

Then they walked down the Isle with all their friends and family cheering and throwing confetti.

Once the couple were married all their guest headed for the ice cream bike where delicious ice cream was served and few group shots were done by the beautifully decorated ceremony.

Then their guests left to go to the evening reception and we had some fun with Jamie and Liz next to their Classic car that was booked from Luis from Algarve Classic Cars. Don’t worry Luis your car didn’t really break down!! 🙂

We all arrived at the Beach Restaurant in Vilamoura and finished off the groups shots and then as the sun was setting it was time for the couple to have their one to one session, so on to the beach for some drone footage and then we hit the shoreline for some photos and as requested we got the smoke flares out.

Back to the restaurant for the meal and Liz and Jamie had included us in their guest list so we sat and ate with the guests, we very rarly get to do this and it really showed how close we had got to Jamie and Liz over the years, the meal was amazing and then it was time for the tear jerking speeches, which included video messages from friends and family that couldn’t make it, more tears to be had!

Liz and Jamie then cut their cake and had their first dance in front of the 4ft LOVE letters provide by Algarve Wedding Letters and every danced to the music which was provided by Algarve Dj Hire.

The evening was amazing and everyone was dancing, drinking and enjoying them selves, after a few drinks with the couple and a shot which Jamie insisted we do it was time to leave and we had to say a very emotional good bye, I don’t think Kellie has ever had a bride cry on her and looking over watching them both in tears made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

What a memorable and enjoyable wedding and a big thank you to Liz, Jamie and their family for making the day so lovely, we really felt part of it and know we will be meeting up with you guys again in the future.

Would you like to send a message to the couple, write in the comments below, we love reading them 🙂
